The Parade

Although still a little sick, Zion was able to be in the parades on Friday night and Saturday along with the other three. He really made a cute toddler Jesus, if I say so myself. He was feeling somewhat better so we made the executive decision to go ahead and let him be in it. He took his job very seriously...he didn't move a muscle or make any expression the whole time (he probably was frozen...literally). The look on his face in the picture is the way he stayed the whole parade. We were very proud of all of them. They were float number 7, and as soon as they were done we went home without staying for the rest of the parade (so they wouldn't be out in the cold more than they had to...because we know when one gets sick they pass it on...as we would find out Saturday when Trinity got the bug). We still had our hot chocolate at home, but weren't able to enjoy it with everyone else after the parade. They were all frozen to the bone at the end but had a good time also. The float looked excellent and was a great testimony of the real reason of Christmas (and a great representation of our school). We still have one more parade next Saturday, and hopefully, all will be well for this one.
