Bobby's dad, aka Papa, coaches the Varsity boys soccer team at ACS. So of course when they made it into the state championships, we had to follow them and cheer them on. Well, that meant packing up the camper and heading to Wilmington for an overnight trip. It was a cold, dreary weekend, but well worth the trip. The guys won the playoff game on Friday afternoon and moved into the championship game on Saturday. There was a big group of LaTour's cheering the team on from the sidelines. And we were ecstatic when they won the game & were the official state champs. It was a whirlwind weekend, but many memories were made (we'll not mention the fact that we ran out of gas during our one night camping & woke up with no heat and little on the chilly side).
Needless to say...we're proud to be an ACS Warrior & thankful to be able to see them win the championship!!!

Congratulations! I know our WCA boys were there, too, but not sure where they finished. Glad you had fun cheering on the team!
