Let me just say that even though we are now in April, we are having some strong March winds. Yesterday it was so windy it looked like tornado weather. My dad & mom pulled out their kite for us to all fly and try to make use of the winds. It was fun for a while. But strong winds + 5 year old girl holding kite by herself = small disaster. Each kid got a chance to fly the kite themselves and they all did a great job with my dad's help. The last time Trinity was holding the kite a strong wind came and pulled the kite out of her hand. Yes, we all chased the handle of string (and probably looked like idiots to any passing by), but there was no chance of catching it. So, we watched as it floated away then thankfully came down to get stuck in a tree. My dad was a hero and rescued the kite minus the handle of string. It was an adventure for sure, and a memory we'll not soon forget!! Kids make life so much more interesting!!

So this kite makes puts their easter kites to shame...hahaha
Talk about where the green grass grows! Great pictures! Looks like fun. I need to get a kite!
