Seekers Adventure

Zion's class at church on Wednesday nights (called the Seekers) had their annual party at the Brook's farm. It is the perfect place to go, and the kids all had a blast.

They got to feed the cows old pears. The kids thought it was pretty neat, but I will say cow tongues are rather disgusting especially with all the spit hanging from their mouths.

The Brooks have a little bit of everything at their home. They have chicken houses, and the kids loved seeing the chickens first hand. Neat experience, but stinky experience.

Then we all went on a hay ride. Fun times!

Chow time! We had some good old hotdogs which no kid can turn down. And yummy cupcakes for dessert.

Adult fellowship!! I'm glad we have many "young" (although young is a relative term) families in our church. It was a nice time of relaxing and just good fun.

Trin & Olivia were twins by accident. I guess great minds think alike!

Last but not least, there was a pumpkin search. They all got to go home with a small pumpkin. Our family had such a fun time. Thanks to all the Seeker leaders who made the party a success and for the Brooks opening their home to us. Thankfully the weather was absolutely perfect and made the day all the more wonderful!
