Good Old Benji

With a cold, rainy weekend upon us, we knew that a movie night was going to happen. Bobby is a collector of movies (and has been doing so for many, many years)...I would hate to guess how many movies we own, but a couple hundred would be a fair estimate. He loves the $5, $7, $9 movie bins at Walmart, so we hardly every pay full price for a movie. We invested in an old classic this weekend...Benji. It came with the original Benji and 3 other movies with Benji in them. A couple of the kids had seen the original before, so we watched one of the other movies and it was a good family flick. Animal movies are a big hit with our kids (especially Zion who absolutely adores Air Bud and all the buddy movies), so we knew they would love it. There is nothing like a movie & popcorn night to make everyone relaxed and happy.

We are highlighting our IMPACT clubs this month at church. IMPACT clubs are our version of AWANAS (or children's classes on Wednesday nights) but instead of just verses the kids are learning catechisms too. Last night it was the Seekers turn (3 & 4 year olds). Trin and Zion fall into this group. After seeing a little slide show of pictures taken throughout the year, they got up and sang the B-I-B-L-E. If only they would have sang the same way they did as they practiced in the car on the way to church....I think they all got a little stage fright (which isn't necessarily bad considering how loud they were singing before church), but they were precious none the less.
