The Big Z

Friday was the kids' 100th day at school!! Zion's kindergarten class brought in 100 of something of their choice to celebrate. Then they all got to take home a little of what each brought. Zion wanted to take army men...so that's what he did. He came home with candy, straws, stickers, and all sorts of neat things. Yeah for 100 days done and hopefully summer break comes very soon!!

On Sunday during the Super Bowl, Zion lost his first tooth. His two bottom teeth have been loose for a few weeks, and we've been waiting for the right time to pull the first one. He leaned over to me during church Sunday night and whispered that his tooth was really loose. I felt it and knew daddy would be pulling it as soon as church was out.
After it was pulled he swore he was't going to put his tongue thru the hole & he was going to have a gold tooth. (Bobby has passed down that old story.) That lasted all of about 5 minutes, and then his tongue went thru the hole. Oh well, no gold tooth for Zion.

He was so excited about putting the tooth under his pillow (in an extremely large gallon size bag), and seeing what the tooth fairy would bring. Needless to say he wasn't disappointed with the results. :o)
