Saturdays are the day when we try to get much accomplished. There is usually lots of cleaning, grocery shopping, and just trying to get done what we haven't had time to do during the week. Well, this past Saturday my mom had a yard sale, so we haulted our normal routine to have fun with her. The kids have been planning a lemonade stand since mom mentioned the yard sale months ago. They had fun making a sign & it has been sitting in Trinity's room for over two months as they anxiously waited for the day to come.
They enjoyed selling their lemonade & brownies to help earn some some spending money for our upcoming Disney trip. Thankfully we had some nice patrons who were willing to splurge for some food & drink to help the needy kids. :)
Then it was cook out time for my Dad's birthday. The kids enjoyed some extra swimming time & I enjoyed watching them have so much fun...until a storm blew in & the party was ended.
I am so loving these long summer days where we can have some family fun. I shudder to say that three weeks from today school starts back up. Boooo!! :)
