Fall Festivities

This past weekend we had our church fall festival and of course we had to go trick or treating for halloween. The festival = lots of fun games & prizes for the kids and some yummy brunswick stew(and lots of good fellowship) for us all. We've got such a great church family, and on these occasions it makes me all the more grateful. We look forward to this every year and once again we were not disappointed. Needless to say the kids were pooped after a full day of fun.

A little street hockey action to end the festival on the right note.

Then we were off trick or treating. We've got a skeleton, fairy, and superman. Caleb wasn't all that excited about dressing up so he told me he'd just wear his costume from last year. Problem was that I packed the wrong costume when getting everything ready for the day (knowing we weren't going home after the fall festival), and he couldn't fit into the one I packed. He wasn't too upset and was just fine walking up to houses with no costume. Really all he cared about was some candy and he was going to get that either way.
We're getting into character now. Poor Trinity with all boys surrounding her.

And here we go...
The whole gang taking a break from all the walking to snap a picture & grab a bite of candy.

A fun filled day that ended with a pumpkin full of candy.
