Impact Clubs

Wednesday nights for our family is a church night.  Bobby & I help are in class with the teenagers and our kids attend IMPACT clubs which is an acrostic for:

Instruction (in God's word)

Memorization (of God's word)

Participation

Activities 

Catechism    

Training

As you can see there is much going on on Wednesday nights...they have the opprotunity to hear a lesson from the Bible, memorize verses & catechisms, and of course there is game time too.  Our kids are so blessed to attend a church where sure they have fun, but the focus is on God's Word.  I'm thankful for the training they get that reinforces what we are teaching them at home.  I know some of them are still a little young to fully appreciate, but my prayer is as they grow so will their appreciation for our church.

March is IMPACT club month at church.   So each age group is highlighted on different Sunday nights during the month.  Trinity & Zion are in the same class, and they were very excited to get to sing & recite some verses and catechisms they have learned this year (and they have learned lots).   

Caleb & Micah's class had their night this past Sunday.  Instead of singing & reciting verses, they had one person from each grade give a mini-testimony about what they have learned & enjoyed during this years IMPACT clubs.  Micah was chosen for his class to speak, and he did a great job.  We are thankful for the promise that what each of them are learning will not return unto them void.  Our prayer is that the Lord will draw each of them to Himself in His time.
