We have an official band member in our family now. In fifth grade you have to be in band, and it is a first come first serve on which instrument you get. Caleb chose the trombone. Although there really wasn't a whole lot of practicing going on at home, he has learned the basics in the couple of months he's been playing. They had their first band concert this week, and of course we were very proud of him.
Our handsome guy who is turning into a man right before our eyes. (He was not all happy about wearing a shirt & tie. But I did catch him taking a couple of extra looks at himself in the mirror, so I think he knew he looked good.)
